What This Extension Does
The lmk.today browser extension helps you save products from any website to your personal wishlists. It detects when you're on a product page and lets you add items with one click. Your wishlists sync with your lmk.today account so you can access them anywhere.
What Permissions We Need & Why
✓ Current Tab Access
Why: To detect product information (title, price, images) on the page you're viewing.
What this means: We only see the current product page when you use the extension.
✓ Local Storage
Why: To remember you're logged in and save your preferences.
What this means: Login tokens stay on your device, not sent anywhere else.
✓ Identity & Cookies
Why: To securely log you into your lmk.today account.
What this means: Standard login process, same as logging into any website.
What We DON'T Do
Track your browsing history
We don't know what websites you visit or what you do online.
Access your personal files
We can't see your downloads, documents, or other files.
Monitor other tabs or extensions
We only work when you actively use our extension on a product page.
Sell your data
We never sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
What Data We Collect
Product Information
When you save a product, we collect: title, price, images, and store name. This is the same information you can see on the product page.
Your Wishlists
The products you save and how you organize them into wishlists. This syncs with your lmk.today account.
Usage Statistics (Anonymous)
Basic info like "how many products were saved today" to help us improve the extension. This data can't be traced back to you personally.
How to Control Your Data
Delete Extension Data
- Uninstall the extension to remove all local data from your browser
- Delete your lmk.today account to remove all server data
- Email us at legal@lmk.today for specific data deletion requests
Export Your Data
You can export all your wishlists and saved products from your lmk.today account dashboard.
Disable Analytics
You can turn off usage statistics in the extension settings if you prefer.
Security & Protection
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
