Is 15 feet long enough for most dump stations?

Fifteen feet is sufficient for the majority of campsites and dump stations, especially when you route the hose around obstacles. If you regularly camp at sites with distant or awkwardly placed hookup points, consider a longer hose or plan to position your RV closer to the dump station.

How do I clean and store the hose to prevent odors and residue?

After dumping, flush the hose thoroughly with fresh water and—if desired—use a mild RV tank cleaner to reduce residue. Drain and compress the accordion folds, then store in a ventilated compartment or hose bag until dry to minimize odors and bacterial growth.

Is this kit worth it compared with cheaper generic hoses?

The RhinoFLEX emphasizes a balance of durability, compatibility, and convenience: the clear elbow and removable 4-in-1 adapter increase usability compared with basic hoses. Cheaper hoses may save money upfront but can lack reinforced construction or the visual elbow, which help reduce mess and maintenance over time.

What is the return or warranty situation if the hose leaks or the adapter breaks?

Return and warranty policies vary by retailer. Camco typically offers product support and may cover manufacturing defects; check the seller’s return window and Camco’s warranty terms before purchase. For retail returns, keep packaging and proof of purchase in case you need to initiate an exchange or refund.
